Autism- Please Spread This Little Film

From Yasmin Ahmad (writer & film director in Malaysia) journal:

On the 29th of December, 2008, my crew and I shot this commercial in Ipoh. I had written the script, based on the true story of Encik Shahrul's family, or more specifically, about his youngest child, Adlan.

Adlan, was an extreme autistic who, for 7 years, behaved like he was trapped in a bubble, unable to communicate with the outside world, and vice versa.

What finally brought him out of that state is featured in the commercial you see here.

The dog is the most misunderstood animal in this country. Its haters, I'm sad to say, are largely Malays who often cannot even tell the difference between "haram" and "najis", let alone the finer points and different degrees of najis.

With this little film, I urge my people to read more about the true Islamic rules concerning this beautiful animal, and to please refrain from being cruel to this creature of God.

Let's do it for Allah.

I support her motivations & I do love dogs yes & i wish i have a dog one day..for my own good. Who knows...Allah is Great..& we cant deny his creations towards to those parents who suffering their children autism syndrome. I don't wish or ask my future kids to be autism & sekutunye..

At least i can standby for all the dugaan kemudian hari..Yasmin really do her research very well..& i just think positive way in this matter..Hukum hakam kalu kite berpegang insyallah berjalan lancar..

Tuhan maha adil & tau niat kite camne jika hati bersih.Anak adelah anugerah, tidak ade alasan untuk mensia-siakan golongan sebegini mahu pun anak kurang upaya.
